Prototypes you create in Flinto begin with a new document. The document has a specific screen size which should match the size of your target device. Flinto provides several presets for common iOS device sizes.

Create a new document

1. Open Flinto. If the new document window doesn’t automatically appear, choose File > New from the menu bar.
2. Choose your desired device type, or type in custom device dimensions.
3. If you’ve entered custom device dimensions, you can choose the appropriate pixel density for your target device. This will be used to determine the size of a point in pixels if you choose points as the units in Flinto.

When you create a document, you’ll be presented with the canvas view and a single empty screen to start with.
